Mission At The Saturn - Part 1

Most server operators are reluctant to host co-operative Descent 3 servers. That's because D3 co-op games need a lot of resources on the server side. Vote for your favourite co-op missions here to get them hosted.

I tried to hold it several times, but it keeps on disconnecting players.

I remember we were playing it few years ago with other players, incl. Mzero; and I was happy.
But that actually was because I was player #0 (server it is), which not disconnects

We tried this the other day but saturn is not in the list when you're not using the server tool. I assume you can only become player #0 when you start it on the computer you're playing or is there another way?

Mission at the Saturn doesnt have the multiplayer flag. You cant play it in coop as player0 unless you add the "multi yes" flag in it maybe.

How to add the coop flag in a singleplayer only mission?
Open the D3Edit.
In "window", tick the "tool bar" if it was not ticked.
Click on the "Q" square in the tool bar. This will open the "quicktest" window.
Down that quicktest window, there are 2 choices: "Editor" and "quicktest". Click on "Editor"
On the top of the window, there is a field "Current open hog". Click on "open" and go into the Descent3/missions folder to find the mission mn3 file. For instance, saturn.mn3. Open the mn3 file.
The mission file content will show inside the "files" field inside the window.
Under that field where you can see all the mn3 content, click on the "Edit msn" button. This will open the mission msn file.
In the middle of the msn window, you can see "keywords", with "singleplayer" ticked, and "anarchy" unticked.
Tick "anarchy".
Now you can tick on the arrow under "anarchy", and choose the option "coop-robotanarchy". The word "coop" will show in the "keywords" field.
At the bottom of the msn window, click on "ok". You will have a message saying the msn was edited.
Go back to the Q window, under the "edit msn" button, there is the "save" button. Click it.
You will have a message saying your mission(mn3) file was saved.

Thanks! Haven't tried it yet but it sounds like even I could do it.
