I am trying to run Descent3 with Win7 32bit, after I launch the game, I got a dark screen and thats it.
Maybe its because of the driver for my graphic card?
The driver is:
258.96_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_whql
And the card:
Nvidia GeForce 7300SE

Try using a differnt rendering device in the video setup (Descent 3 Setup Video)

It could also be the sound.
For testing, you can use these command line switches:
-nomusic -nosound
|

I tried the Open GL and the Direkt3D Driver, bat i got allways a dark screen and have to restart the PC.

I dont know if it can help but, when I select "open GL" in the setup, I can see my video card. I can see the red progress bars when a mission is loading, and the main menu items are highlighted. But I have a black screen when I quit a game.
If I select "direct 3d" in the setup, it is not writen the name of my videocard. I cant see the red progress bars, they are grey, and the main menu items are not highlighted, but I never have a black screen.
